About Us

Keilor Village Medical is a personalised General Practice, established by Dr.Megan Willaton in the heart of the Keilor Village. KVM offers a broad range of primary care services, so please contact the clinic for further information.

Keilor Village Medical opened its doors in October of 2015, realising the vision of its Principal and founding doctor, Dr Megan Louise Willaton.

Dr Willaton’s immediate objective has been to provide continuing care for patients founded on a core set of principles, developed over decades of practising medicine in various settings. In each of these settings, Dr. Willaton’s concern for each and every one her patients has been the omnipotent ingredient in her modus operandi. It is this core value that has sustained her high standards and an acknowledgement from patients that has been warm and appreciative.

Our core values based around People, Excellence, Quality, Responsibility, Communications and Sustainability drive Keilor Village Medical now and into the future.

The RACGP states that, General practice provides person centered, continuing, comprehensive and coordinated whole person health care to individuals and families in their communities.'

Keilor Village Medical aims to incorporate comprehensive and coordinated care of whole person health care into its daily practice. Individuals and families attend primary health care medical clinics for a whole host of routine to more complex procedures.

A comprehensive fee structure that acknowledges the constraints of maintaining sustainable and quality medical clinics is vital. Keilor Village Medical is a privately funded medical facility that has been developed without any government support or grants. Our fees therefore need to reflect the costs of providing and maintaining a medical service to the community.

Work is also done when patients are not present such as reviewing test results, reports and patient files, attending to continuing professional development and of course the business of the practice. The Australian Government provides a Medicare rebate for patients when they receive a medical service, although this amount is not sufficient to cover the full cost of the service.

Dr Willaton and the staff at Keilor Village Medical thank-you for your understanding and welcome feedback from our patients to continually improve and monitor our service. Should you wish to discuss our service further, please do not hesitate to contact our Practice Manager at the clinic on 9331 6967.
